This WAS supposed to be about the PTZ Optics Studio Pro
While trying to test the PTZ Optics Studio Pro for a new review video Robert encounters some issues that causes a mild rant to ensue. Curse you MICRO-HDMI!!!

In the City Drone Footage

Flying the Mini 3 around the way. Getting used to flying around trees and then color correcting the footage. Need to work on editing drone footage and working on speed ramping. I've already got footage for my next video using more of the drone AI features. Really liking the Mini 3 and now hearing rumors of the Mini 4... Too hard to keep up!
SmallRig RC120D Overview
Переглядів 22Рік тому
Our newest light for remote shoots, is the SmallRig RC120D. Lightweight but powerful enough for interviews and small scenes the RC120D is a great addition. This video was not sponsored by SmallRig in any way. In fact I don't think they even know we bought their light. We have bought many great camera rigs and rig accessories from SmallRig in the past and the price of the RC120D was good enough ...
Drone on the Beach

Taking the DJI Mini 3 Pro out for the first time. I really love this drone, especially as an upgrade to the Mini 2. Well worth the cost as I got it on discount with DJI care and a spare battery for under the inital release price. (That discount price is still available as of the date of this upload) The Mini 3 Pro has been out for almost a year now with plenty of reviews and tutorials available...

Don't Ignore the Issue

Issues that come up before, during or after a show should not be ignored. They will always spiral out of control OR hit you when you can least afford to be hit. Take Robert for example.... Listen as he recounts the tale of ignoring a problem until it couldn't be ignored any further. Will he learn from his mistake? Will you?
Canon R7 vs 90D

After a disappointing photo session using my 90D I looking into upgrading to an R7. But is it really an upgrade? Is there a big difference in quality between the 90D and the mirrorless R7? Can you tell from UA-cam?

Protecting your Investment

How can you protect your Yolobox Pro? Robert decides to get the PK1 Pro Streamer YP Cage for the Yolobox Pro... whew, what a name. Purchased from Peppertech Digital (peppertech.io) and apparently designed by Aaron Parecki, a UA-camr of some renown. Does it really do much to protect the Yolobox Pro? How difficult is it to put together? Can it serve more than one purpose? All this and more can be...
PTZ vs PTZ: Welcome to the New Age

Robert compares a PTZOptics 30x camera from about 6 years ago to a brand new BZBGear 30x PTZ camera. Though the specs are close between the two cameras are the results close? What has changed in the last few years. He also tests the BZBGear Commander: the PTZ controller that works with the BZBGear AND PTZOptics cameras. 5:30 you didn't convert it to stereo
was this video shot on a Studio Pro?
Cool video! Did you do any color correction?
No color correction. This is the normal profile right out of the drone.

Certainly, we are glad to assist. Let me know a little about your system. Are you recording early, editing and then streaming or streaming live? What is your current signal flow?
Good afternoon, needed some help. Do to this pandemic our church is now live streaming and I've been tasked with getting it all going. We did our first stream this Sunday. our Pastor now wants scriptures in the lower thirds can you help please!!!!!!!!!
This is a great beginning education for those who are not part of Wall Street, and those who need to see with clearer eyes (aka all of us) all the areas that we need diversity (aka everywhere!). Thank you. I love seeing the respect and admiration you each have for each other, and the strength that brings to the table...that is a blessing on many levels. The focus on the candidate interview process was especially interesting. I hope this series continues; it's important, regardless of race.
Thanks, I’m in self imposed retired exile in the Philippine hoping to get a streaming channel up and going....it would be a significant help as all my camera hdmi out is interlaced...webcaster requires progressive, the Lumantek could solve the problem!
Apparently you had glitch...it happens
Wow, I needed this, can you use the ez-Pro VS-4 with the Webcaster?
I should have not problem doing that. I'll test it out and let you know.
I have noticed that we can't play the the full time line of all the videos. 🙄
I don't recall seeing that problem. I thought I was able to play back an entire video at one point.
Do you happen to know how many frames of latency the new ursa mini pro has going into the atem?
We just used the URSA mini through an ATEM and didn't notice much in the way of loss to the ATEM. We were using SDI.
If you're going to put out a video on UA-cam, put out somethin' that can be tolerated. So much of the video was out of focus, and just unprofessional. This video was horrible, and exactly what they say: Garbage in and Garbage out. I know that you mean well, but in the age of professional video content produced for UA-cam, I have to wonder what you're puttin' out there on fb live. Oh well...
I did warn you that it would be different than our other videos. ;-) And to be fair there is plenty out there on UA-cam that is intolerable. Just keep on the lookout for more of our videos when we test the footage. We promise it will be up to your standards!
Hey guys, How are you getting on with the UM Pro and TV Studio? We are awaiting ours to arrive over the next few days. We are also trying to find good headsets for live streaming events with Noise Cancelling and easy access to mic. Thanks for posting the video. :-)
Things are going great. BMD makes it easy to mate the two devices. I have the older TV Studio at my church and I'm trying to find a way to get them to replace it. This model is light years better than the previous.
how did you get yours? B&H said tey get in stock by 17
Sandy Audio Visual is a Blackmagic Design reseller so they are able to get supply directly from the factory before everyone else.
thanks
how long did it take you to get your ursa after you ordered it?
About 5 business days. Not sure how that timing will change as more people get interested in getting their own copy.
nice review, what is the difference between Rtmp stream & Rtsp stream ? and how was the video latency as i can see the image is not in sync with the audio..... i use Livestreamstudio and it support the Rtmp stream.. the Wirecast for youtube version used to be free.
I wonder how well it will work with a GoPro 4 camera. I understand it most likely won't be able to attach to the gopro camera and that's fine but I wonder if i don't connect it directly to the camera if it will show the black areas of the teleprompter.
My guess would be that the wide angle lens of the GoPro would show the edges of the teleprompter. I'll test that out using my Lightdow and see.
I finally got my GoPro knockoff back so I'll be testing as well.
how far away can u go before it gets too small to read?
That would depend on your sight but since you can enlarge the text on the fly it shouldn't cause too much of a problem.
Nice review.
Thanks. We strive for effect reviews.
Your presentation was very helpful, detailed and explained clearly with easy to understand steps. I discovered PTZ Optics in late stages of PTZ Cam vetting for a new business project within the past two years. PTZ Optics and HuddleCam HD PTZ Cams deliver powerful additions to my business in many ways beyond excellent price points, as the company account representatives spent time with me, made sure I was properly educated and cared to listen about what was most important to me in my search and they simply earned my business. I currently own and integrate (1) PTZ Optics Second Gen 12x SDI, (1) HuddleCam HD Second Gen 10x USB3.0 and (1) HuddleCam HD Second Gen 3x USB 3.0. The 12x SDI is an amazing cam where I integrate a Magewell SDI to USB 3.0 conversion dongle. This was my first purchase in PTZ Video technology along with a conversion component and they work together incredibly well - stable and easy to use. The robust connection asset that the PTZ Optics line includes has served well. After getting acquinted with a PTZ Optics PTZ Cam, testing - I felt that I should evaluate their additional PTZ Cam offerings, after the trial success of the 12x SDI. HuddleCam HD, although not the same in their connection opportunities - as PTZ Optics - each model, the 10x HD and the 3x HD - 3.0 are a special value and I enjoy the opportunity at high levels when I do control the Cams and drive them. I'm a nubie, well - now probably exiting that stage and it was a difficult vetting process then. There was not, in my mind, any company that was manufacturing PTZ Cams that I either vetted with physical equipment or spoke with that really compared. Telestream's Wirecast Pro was my production platform choice. Like PTZ Optics, I could not have chosen a more intuitive, exciting platform to deploy. Thanks again for your effort.
That is great to hear. While I worked through a local seller to get my hands on the PTZ Optics camera and did not get to work with the company directly I was very impressed with the camera. My contact is happy with his set and I have worked with them during live streaming events and seen the quality and functionality first hand. Thanks for taking the time to respond.
Nicee!! how much delay is on it with video over IP? or can you use NDI on that PTZ? Thanks
Thanks for watching. The lag was negligible over wifi. It worked very well. I didn't see any option for NDI within the menu so I can't definitively say whether it would work or not
Play it, Harold Watson!
what software are you using?
Sony Vegas Pro 12.
Any reason? What is a good and complete program for editing? Better "value" (Not so expensive)
I've been using Vegas Pro for years and I've found it very easy to learn and easy to use. I've started to shift more to BlackMagic DaVinci Resolve for the color correction aspect *but* Resolve is not easier to learn and use than Vegas. In terms of best value most of the editing programs below $150 are the same. You might want to try Premiere Elements or Pinnacle Studio.
I just bought a Lightdow 6000, and was surprised by how well it did in late evening just before dusk. Now, I am no professional and have never used a GoPro, but still, I thought it did well at that time of day. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the review, man. Pretty helpful.
Glad to help.
Why didn't you color correct or fix the lightdow at night
The pixelation was so poor I couldn't see any correction fixing it. I'm going to test it some more and the post the results.
Good review . I have this camera with the latest firmware and the focus is sometimes a little slow , but not so slow . check the New Firmware 3.00 Options With the recent firmware upgrade, free to camera owners with firmware below 3.00, the camera can now record 4K at 100 Mb/s when recording 4K video with the XAVC S codec. Please note that an SDXC UHS-I U3 or higher card is required for 4K 100 Mbps recording. The firmware update also brings to the camera the ability to capture images from XAVC S movie, adjustable trimming frame size when using the Trimming Playback function with XAVC S 4K movies, and improved autofocus performance when tracking a person.
FYI, the Wi-Fi connection is great. plus, the Light-Dow has motion detection. works great. 👍😎
I did a brief test on the Wifi and it did work fine. I have another review coming with more footage.
Yes, Thanks
from my experience and other reviews, the LightDow did better in Low light conditions. that said, I would still go with Light Dow
I'll do a comparison indoors in Low Light and see how it comes out.
+SpaceAgeConsulting thanks bro...
the lightDow does a nice job at stabalization compared to the go pro
In my case I had to remove disk 2 only. This disk kept flashing compared to the others which went to a steady green light within a few seconds.
I have the same problem and I will trying your suggestion now. Fingers crossed !!!!
No color corrections was done. Look out for next video when we color correct this footage using DaVinci Resolve.
Thanks for uploading this
Could you please show how you did the color correction? Any print screen? any Screen vídeo record?
excellent review
I really like this product, but my main usage is time machine. Paying 500$ for this purpose only seems to much for me. Do you know if there is any kind of 4 hdd box i could raid from iMac, i believe it should be a lot cheaper. Thanks
Fabulous review, very well done. Thank you.

A great testimony on Faith and Perseverance!
I currently have a 4TB Seagate Central and it is not doing what I need it for. I would like to share my music to all my devices @ home (phone/tablet/laptop). I am looking to purchase this product and have a couple questions: 1. When you took out all the hd's in the beginning and just left the hd in bay#4, when did you put all the drives back in? 2. Will this product stream music to all devices? 3. Can it stream Winamp playlists on the home network? Thank you in advance.
Excellent review. Thanks many for this video!
Yea I just did it to mine www.synology.com/en-global/support/tutorials/484
I have a very old Synology CS407 (4 disk) cubestation. In it I have 2 x 750GB (HD753LJ) SATA disks. Would I be able to take them out of CS407 and place them into DS412+, without the need to format them? Ideally I don't want to lose the data that exists on them. Is that possible? Would I be able to then buy say 2 x WD Red disks and add them in as well?
